Please ensure that the pen is positioned with the nib and the cap, facing upwards and the titanium tail-tip facing downwards, resting on the base. Remember, nib up, tail-tip down for a perfect hover.
How do I open the cap of the Hoverpen?

Simply pull it straight off to reveal the nib.
I tried to twist open the cap and couldn’t find the nib. What should I do?

If you are twisting the cap, you're actually accessing the internal structure for changing the refill or cartridge. To use the pen, pull the cap straight off, and you will see the nib. Twisting is for when you need to replace the ink cartridge.
